What I Don’t Like About this Fire Pit Table…
The Outland Living fire pit has a lower heat output than some other comparable fire pit tables. For example, the Key Largo Fire Table has 50,000 BTU’s (compared to 35,000 BTU’s of this model).
This factor may or may not matter to you, depending on how hot or high you want your flames. On the flip side, the lower BTU’s can mean that your propane tank lasts longer and therefore saves you money.
How to Light the Fire Pit:
So, where does the propane tank go? Glad you asked! It fits discreetly underneath the table.
Actually, you probably already saw the metal pull-rings and might have wondered what they did. They work as handles to pull out the shelf that holds the tank, making it super easy to replace the tank when needed.
Lighting the fireplace is just as easy. This table comes with an auto ignition feature where you can simply press a button and turn a knob.
For example, the electric spark system ignites the gas instantly when you turn on the gas and press the button. Then, you can control the level of flame using the knob on the side of the table.
The adjustable flame also enables you to control the gas output. Therefore, you can extend the life of your gas tank by using less gas – or increase the flames for more warmth around the fire pit!
